Relational Leadership Mini Intensive
Wednesday, October 28 | 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. PT | Town and Country Resort, San Diego
Registration: $199 (includes lunch and refreshments)
What if the most powerful thing a school leader could do is simply prioritize relationships?
This half-day mini intensive offered by Family Engagement Leaders George Otero, Lisa Otero and Anne Henderson, provides a hands-on introduction to Relational Leadership, an approach that places trust, connection, and community at the center of leading and learning. Taking place on Wednesday just before the National Assembly opening reception, this is an intimate, in-person experience designed to give you practical tools you can bring back to your school, district, or organization immediately.
Through dialogue, reflection, and collaborative activities, participants will explore what it means to lead relationally, building the kind of mutually trusting relationships among families, educators, and communities that drive real and lasting change.
Learn more about the Relational Leadership Intensives.
You'll leave with:
- A deeper understanding of the Relationship-First approach to family and community engagement
- Practical tools and strategies to strengthen trust and connection in your school or organization
- New ways to engage families and communities as partners, not just participants
- A refreshed sense of purpose and connection — personally and professionally
This session is for leaders who believe:
- That relationships are not a soft skill — they are the foundation of everything
- That engaging families is an ongoing process of discovery, not a box to check
- That when schools, families, and communities work together, all children learn more and learn better

Space is limited. Reserve your spot today by selecting "Relational Leadership Mini Intensive" while registering and arrive at the Assembly ready to lead differently.
